Ragging in any form—physical, verbal, emotional, or psychological—is strictly prohibited across the campus, hostels, classrooms, laboratories, and hospital premises.

We strictly follow the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC), UGC, and the Supreme Court of India to ensure a completely ragging-free educational environment where every learner feels protected and valued.

What Constitutes Ragging?

According to the law, ragging includes but is not limited to:

• Harassment, teasing, or abusive behaviour
• Physical or mental intimidation
• Forcing students to participate in unwanted activities
• Insulting, humiliating, or bullying new students
• Any act that causes fear, shame, or embarrassment

Ragging is a punishable offence. Strict disciplinary and legal action will be taken against offenders.

Anti-Ragging Measures

• Mandatory anti-ragging affidavits from students and parents
• 24×7 CCTV surveillance across campus and hostels
• Regular awareness sessions and orientation programs
• Anti-ragging posters and communication displayed throughout the campus
• Anti-Ragging Squad monitoring all academic and hostel areas
• Immediate action on any reported case
